From the Drive-In to The Carter Center: Our Award-Winning Trip to Atlanta

We had a great trip down to one of our favorite cities Atlanta for Carpool’s Drive-in Film Festival, where our short documentaryVoting Matters was honored amongst some truly wonderful narrative films and documentaries. It was an honor to be part of such a thoughtful, community-focused event, and we’re really grateful to the festival team for shining a light on our work. While we were there, we also visited The Carter Center Library and Museum, which was a powerful reminder of why civic engagement and democracy matter so much. What made the whole experience especially meaningful was that it wasn’t about partisan politics. Instead, it was about education, awareness, and encouraging people to take part in elections.

Also, the tasty southern food was definitely a perk of the trip!
